Art Fields 2025

Avondale & Victory Heights Studio Crawl

Maryland Institute College of Art MFA

I’m thrilled to share that my painting, Storm and Stress, has been selected for ArtFields 2025 in Lake City, South Carolina. My work will be on view at ROB Gallery, and I can’t wait to see how it resonates with the ArtFields community. Annual Competition & Festival: April 25 - May 3, 2025

On Saturday, March 1 from 11-5 artists in Avondale and Victory Heights neighborhoods will host a public studio crawl. Artists Betsy Cain, Matt Toole, Tony Artemisia, Will Penny, Dana Richardson and Chis Moss will host visitors in their studios. We hope the public invitation will inspire you to get to know some artists in the community or, if you already know them, to take a peek at what they’ve been up to lately.

How to participate: This is a self-guided studio crawl. You can find a digital map on our website or start at any artist’s studio you like and pick up a map there. Ology Gallery/Clayer & Co. will also have maps.

Once you have a map, or list of addresses, or both, you can begin your own personal crawl. Start anywhere you like, bring your map with you and collect all six artist’s signatures to be entered in a raffle for some sweet, sweet prizes to be drawn at the end of the crawl.

More information and updates can be found on the event website: https://studiocrawl.wixsite.com/savannah or by following @savannah_studio_crawl on Instagram or Avondale / Victory Heights Studio Crawl on facebook.

The low residency format of MICA’S MFAST perfectly aligns with my high school teaching job and allows me to balance pursuing art with other commitments. Over the next 4 years, I will be learning from accomplished artists and educators, and developing my skills. Anticipated graduation 2026.

I am particularly drawn to the collaborative and innovative atmosphere that MICA offers, which I believe will push the boundaries of my creativity and help me evolve as an artist. With the guidance of my mentors, Jackie Milad, and the support of my fellow students, I am confident that this experience will shape my artistic voice in profound ways.

Commission for Emma James Hotel

I am thrilled to announce my upcoming mural commission for the new development, The Emma James, in the heart of Savannah, in collaboration with SCAD Art Sales! I am honored to contribute to this vibrant community, blending creativity with urban living.

Inspired by the city's water and landscape and the development's contemporary aesthetic, the artwork aims to captivate residents and visitors as they enter the complex.
